Jungho Jang signed a contract to acquire additional 18.91% stake in SC Engineering Co., Ltd (KOSE:A023960) from SC Plan Co., Ltd. and SC Sencess Co., Ltd for KRW 7.4 billion on January 8, 2019. Under the terms, Jungho Jang acquired 4.73 million shares at KRW 1570 per share and increased the shareholding from 0.13 million shares (0.53%) to 4.9 million shares (19.44%) in SC Engineering. Post-acquisition, SC Plan reduced the shareholding from 10.1 million shares to 7.4 million shares and SC Sencess reduced the shareholding from 3.1 million shares to 1 million shares in SC Engineering.

SC Engineering Co., Ltd. is a Korea-based company principally engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of process equipment (PE) which are used in petro chemistry, oil refining, gas and power plants. The Company provides engineering services including engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) for precision chemical, biochemical, pharmaceuticals manufacturing, and food plants.
