The Management Board of SMT S.A. with its registered office in Warsaw ("Issuer", "SMT S.A.") informs that on 20 January 2016, Trigon Dom Maklerski S.A. brokerage house with its registered office in Kraków ("Trigon"), purchased 2 565 shares.


The shares were purchased in connection with the performance of the own share acquisition programme, for the purposes of redemption on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.


The shares were purchased on the basis of an authorisation given under Resolution No 28 adopted by the Ordinary General Meeting of SMT S.A. held on 18 June 2015, concerning the authorisation of the Management Board of the Company to acquire the Company's own shares on its behalf and the Rules of the SMT S.A. buy-back programme under the resolution of the Issuer Management Board of 17 December 2015 (the Resolution was published in Current Report 22/2015 and 57/2015).


According to the information passed by Trigon on 20 January 2016 between 09:18 AM and 15:40 PM 2 565 own shares with nominal value of 0.10 PLN each were purchased, which constitute 0,022% of share in the Issuer issued share capital and giving a 0,022% share in the number of votes at the Issuer General Meeting. The single share average unit price of purchase equalled PLN 12,97 when rounded and the total price of purchase equalled PLN 33 268,99.


As a result of this transaction, the Company jointly holds 15 044 own shares which constitute 0,129% of share in the Issuer share capital and giving a 0,129% share in the number of votes at the Issuer General Meeting.


Legal basis: Art. 5(1)(6) of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of 19 February 2009 concerning current and periodic information provided by securities issuers and conditions of recognising as equivalent information required under the regulations of a state not being a Member State (Journal of Laws of 2009 No 33 item 259).
