Samyang Tongsang Co., Ltd (KOSE:A002170) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase shares up to KRW 5,000 million worth of its shares under the contract with NH Investment & Securities Co., Ltd. The purpose of the program is to increase shareholder value through stable stock price. The program will be valid until July 25, 2019. As of October 24, 2018, the company had no shares in treasury under the dividend capacity and no shares in treasury under other capacities.
SAMYANG TONGSANG CO., LTD is a Korea-based company principally engaged in the provision of leathers. The Company operates its business through two segments. Leather segment imports and processes raw hides as raw materials as well as manufactures and sells leather fabrics. Leasing segment engages in the leasing of real estates. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to the overseas markets.
