Samty Residential Investment Corporation ("Samty Residential") announces that, concerning the issuance of new investment units through third-party allotment (the "Third-Party Allotment") with Daiwa Securities Co. Ltd. as the allottee resolved along with the issuance of new investment units through public offering and third-party allotment and the secondary offering of investment units at the board of directors' meetings held on July 12, 2021, and July 19, 2021, it received a notice from the allottee that it will subscribe part of the investment units scheduled to be issued as follows.

3. Use of Procured Funds through the Third-Party Allotment
The proceeds from the issuance of new investment units through the Third-Party Allotment (254,701,681 yen) will be allocated to part of expenses incidental to the acquisition of the 24 properties completed on August 3, 2021. Any remaining amount will be set aside as cash on hand and allocated to part of funds for the acquisition of specified assets (as defined in Paragraph 1, Article 2 of the Act on Investment Trusts and Investment Corporations (Act No. 198 of 1951, as amended) ) in the future.
