Samsung reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2018. For the quarter, the company revenue recorded KRW 1.9981 trillion, which is approximately 16% Quarter over quarter decrease but about a 16% year-on-year increase. Operating profit decreased by about 38% quarter over quarter, it increased by about 136% year-on-year to KRW 252.3 billion
For the full year, the company reported revenue of KRW 8.1930 trillion and operating profit full year of KRW 1.0181 trillion, which are both significant year-on-year improvements. Net income after corporate tax was KRW 185.3 billion.
