Asahi Group Holdings, Ltd. (TSE:2502) is looking into acquiring Saigon Beer Alcohol Beverage Corporation (HOSE:SAB) (Sabeco), said Asahi President Akiyoshi Koji. "We're studying and considering beer makers including Sabeco," he said. Vietnam's government has invited global investment banks to pitch for a mandate to sell a Sabeco stake worth at least $1.8 billion.
