In Moscow, at the central office of Rosseti Centre, a meeting was held on implementation of the digital radio communication program. General Director of the Company, Igor Makovskiy, discussed the concept of the project, taking into account the use of domestic solutions and further prospects for cooperation.

The program for the development of digital radio communications has been carried out in the company for 4 years; Rosseti Center is the first organization in Russia to build the largest private radio network. The Company's branches in the Belgorod, Voronezh, Kostroma, Kaluga and Vladimir regions fully implemented the program - 100% of the territory is covered by a digital radio communication network. By the end of 2024, the expected communication coverage area of up to 80% will be achieved in two more branches - Nizhnovenergo and Tverenergo.

Innovative solutions will help ensure reliable departmental communication between operational and production personnel, achieve independence from the state and coverage of mobile communications, and reduce the time to eliminate technological violations in the power grid complex.

"Our key goal is to create a stable network for communications between the dispatcher and operational and production personnel. The implementation of the digital radio communication project will make it possible to achieve 100% coverage of the entire territory of 20 regions with a reliable and independent technological communication network. The latest technologies used in the energy complex improve the quality of power supply, and this is the main criterion for assessing our activities", noted Igor Makovskiy.
