Elina Leimgruber to succeed Laurent Ballif on the Board of Directors of Romande Energie Holding Elina Leimgruber, who is mayor of Vevey, has been designated to represent the municipalities of Vaud canton on the Board of Directors of Romande Energie Holding. She will succeed Laurent Ballif, whose term of office expires at the Annual General Meeting on 30 May.

Laurent Ballif, a former mayor of Vevey, joined the Board of Directors of Romande Energie Holding in 2007 and served as a member of the Appointments and Compensation Committee, one of the Board's subcommittees. His term of office will expire at the Annual General Meeting on 30 May.

The Board of Directors would like to thank him for the expertise and strategic vision he has contributed throughout his term.

Representing Vaud's municipal shareholders

Under Romande Energie Holding's Articles of Association, 6 of the 11 members of the Board of Directors are appointed by the Vaud cantonal government, 2 of whom represent shareholding municipalities. Correspondingly, Elina Leimgruber has been designated to succeed Laurent Ballif for a two-year term. This appointment will therefore not be covered by a resolution at the next Annual General Meeting.

Elina Leimgruber has been mayor of Vevey since July 2016. She is also active in several regional companies and bodies, chiefly as vice-chair of the Vevey-Montreux-Chillon- Villeneuve (VMCV) public transportation group, a board member of Montreux-Vevey-Riviera (MVR), another public transportation group, and a member of the executive committee of the Service intercommunal de gestion (SIGE), a public water supply and treatment utility.
