Ricksoft Inc. announced that it has developed and is set to provide MS Project importer for JIRA, an add-on that allows users to import data from Microsoft Project, a project management tool of Microsoft Corp., into JIRA products produced by Atlassian Pty Ltd. Ricksoft has developed MS Project importer for JIRA in response to requests from many customers who say they want to import data from Microsoft Project, a project management tool developed by Microsoft, into JIRA Server. JIRA Server is a bug-tracking and project management tool developed by Atlassian. The server consists of JIRA Core used for business process management, JIRA Software used for software development and project management and JIRA Service Desk used for operation and as a help desk.
