Launch of the Power Reply startup in Germany 

Smart technologies fuel the energy and utilities industry. Businesses are under increasing pressure to invest in new IT projects. To meet this growing market, Reply has established a startup in Germany with the name "Power Reply". The Reply group is pooling its industry expertise in this newly established company. Power Reply will be introduced to the public at the "E-World" Fair in Essen from February 7-9.

Some of the employees in the newly established company have implemented extremely successful SAP CRM projects for a variety of German energy and utility companies. This team is being strengthened by industry experts from Italy, who managed extensive and complex transformation processes in the core areas of the industry. There has already been a company in Italy called Power Reply for the last five years.

"In Germany and Italy we can look back on over ten years of industry experience. We are now pooling this valuable experience within Power Reply GmbH & Co. KG so that we can offer our clients the best possible support," says Josef Mago, Chairman of the Board of Reply Deutschland AG.

Power Reply will support energy and utility companies in Germany and France in increasing their process efficiency when optimizing IT investments. The portfolio of the company comprises services in the areas of:

Dr Lutz Veldman and Stefano Caprari will head up the newly established company. Dr Lutz Veldman has been a partner for trade and utilities in the Reply group. Stefano Caprari was involved in the successful establishment of Power Reply in Italy.

Power Reply will be introduced to the public at the E-World Fair, which takes place from February 7-9 in Essen. The company will present its complete portfolio on the "Smart Energy" joint booth in hall 7. The key theme of "Smart Metering" will be subject of two presentations. On Tuesday February 7 from 4:20 to 4:35 pm, Stefano Caprari will present the subject of "Smart Meter Assessment". On Wednesday February 8, from 4:20 to 4:35 pm, Enrico Mussi will discuss success factors and obstacles in the rollout of large and complex smart metering projects.
