Japan Asia Investment Co Ltd. announced March 10, 2016, that it has started to build a 30MW solar power plant in Yoshino-chou, Nara Prefecture, Japan, in collaboration with Renewable Japan Co Ltd. JFE Electrical & Control Systems Inc. provided EPC services. The solar panel and PV inverter employed for the plant are products of China-based Yingli Green Energy and Hitachi Ltd, respectively. The plant is expected to generate about 31,950,000kWh of electricity, which is equivalent to the amount consumed by 9,150 households, per year.
