Yesterday, Renault announced that it would be 'no. 1 in the French PC+LCV market (passenger cars and light commercial vehicles), with 335,971 vehicles sold in 2022 (-14.7%), including 236,405 passenger cars and 99,566 commercial vehicles.

Renault's sales policy has also propelled the Losange to the top of sales to private customers, with 115,606 registrations, up 12% on 2021. The brand's market share in this channel reached 16.3%, up 2.2 points.

In line with its commitments, the brand continues to make strong progress in the electrified market, which it dominates with a market share of 20.4% (+1.8 points).

Renault maintains its historic leadership of the 100% electric vehicle market, with 40,430 registrations, up 24.6% on 2021.

Ivan Segal, Renault France Sales Director, adds that a rich product plan lies ahead with the marketing of Nouvel Austral and the launch of 4 new vehicles, which will 'reinforce the brand's positions on value-generating axes'.
