RDI REIT P.L.C. (LSE:RDI) acquired an 80% stake in four flexible London offices Portfolio from Forum Partners Investment Management LLC, Office Space in Town Limited and KaiLongRei Investment for approximately £150 million on January 15, 2018. The equity consideration for RDI's 80% interest in the portfolio is £72.5 million, including transaction costs of less than 1%. The acquisition includes existing debt facilities of £73.5 million reflecting a loan to value of 45%, in line with the strategic priority of reducing Group leverage. The transaction is financed by the majority of the proceeds from the recent disposal of the German supermarket portfolio by RDI REIT. Following acquisition, Office Space in Town will retain 20% stake in the portfolio, while the remaining 80% stake will be owned by RDI. The transaction is earnings accretive to RDI.
