Raytheon Company has signed a contract with BAE Systems in support of upgrading the Republic of Korea's fleet of more than 130 KF-16C/D Block 52 aircraft. As a key subcontractor to BAE Systems, the company will provide an integrated solution that includes the Raytheon Advanced Combat Radar (RACR), ALR-69A all-digital radar warning receiver, advanced mission computing technology and weapon systems integration. This contract, booked in the fourth quarter 2013, adds the F-16 Fighting Falcon to the roster of fighters retrofitted with Raytheon AESA radars (F-15C, F-15E, F/A-18E/F and the EA-18G Growler).
