Rayonier (NYSE: RYN) today announced that William Manzer joined Rayonier as vice president, manufacturing operations. Manzer will have overall operational responsibility for the Jesup, Ga., and Fernandina Beach, Fla., mills as well as the company's Georgia-based lumber operations.

Manzer brings over 30 years of process manufacturing experience to Rayonier. Most recently, he was with Fraser Papers in Maine, where he served as senior vice president, business strategy and projects.

Manzer holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Maine, Orono.
