R.E.A. Holdings plc reported operating results for the full year to December 31, 2013. For the period, the group's crop of oil palm fresh fruit bunches harvested amounted to 578,785 tonnes, compared with 597,722 tonnes for the year to December 31, 2012.  External purchases of FFB from smallholders and other third parties totalled 99,348 tonnes for the year.  Rainfall across the estates averaged 3,385 mm in 2013, similar to the level of 3,241 mm for the previous year. The group purchased FFB, together totaling 678,133 tonnes produced 147,649 tonnes of crude palm oil, 30,741 tonnes of palm kernels and 11,393 tonnes of crude palm kernel oil.  These production figures reflect extraction rates of, respectively, 21.8% for CPO, 4.5% for palm kernels and 36.8% for CPKO.
