Management of Company 'Quadra - Power Generation' Controls Completion of Construction of New Energy Facility at Dyagilev HPP

The readiness of the new GSU-115 MW (gas steam unit) at the Dyagilev HPP is currently over 80%; the main and auxiliary equipment has been fully delivered to the construction site. This was announced by Yury Pimonov, Director General of PJSC 'Quadra - Power Generation' at a meeting of the construction-related operations staff. He also noted that the utility had completed the process of contracting with contractors.

The meeting of the operations staff was attended by heads of PJSC 'Quadra - Power Generation', Central Branch of the company and representatives of contractors holding the construction and installation works. They discussed the current status of the project and issues of compliance with the construction schedule.

On the eve of the event, hydraulic tests of two waste heat recovery boiler units were carried out. Currently, the staff is preparing for washing gas turbine oil systems.

At the construction site of GSU-115 MW, the main building has been fully constructed, where gas turbines have been mounted; the construction of outdoor switchgear of 110 kV has been completed; waste heat recovery boilers have been installed. Works are continued in respect of pipes installation (fitting) and mounting of valves of the circulation pump station (CPS). The construction of the frame and wall panels of the oil warehouse is nearing completion. Preparations are held as to chemical washing of waste heat recovery boilers, during which boiler equipment will be washed using demineralized water and special chemical reagents. Today, more than 400 representatives of the contractors are working at the construction site.

The construction project of GSU-115 MW at the Dyagilev HPP in the city of Ryazan involves construction of a new technological complex, which consists of two SGT-800 gas turbine units made by Siemens with generators of electrical capacity equaling 45 MW each, steam turbine co-generation unit SST-400 made by Siemens with generator of electrical capacity equaling 38.5 MW, two heat-recovery steam boilers made by JSC 'Podolsk Engineering Plant', the city of Podolsk. The composition of the technological complex also includes OS-110 kV (outdoor switchgear), technical rooms, sectional cooling tower, treatment plants, and pipelines.

Startup of GSU-115 MW will improve technical and economic performance of the Dyagilev HPP. Its electrical capacity will grow to 225 MW and heat capacity - to 330 Gcal/h. Commissioning of the energy facility is scheduled for December 2016; it will improve the reliability of power supply of Ryazan city residents, in particular, micro districts Prioksky, Nedostoevo and Kanishchevo of Moskovsky district in Ryazan. Moreover, additional production of heat will expand the area of heating and provide heat to the residents of the intensively constructed districts of Moskovsky district in Ryazan.

Within the framework of meeting the obligations under CSA, PJSC 'Quadra - Power Generation' plans to ensure the commissioning of new energy units (GSUs) at the Dyagilev HPP in 2016, Alexin HPP in 2017, and Voronezh HPP-1 in 2018. The total installed capacity of the energy facilities under construction is 453 MW. The total amount of investments in these projects is more than RUR 28.4 bn (including VAT).
