PT Mandom Indonesia Tbk : Praying Together in Safety Day

Every year, July 10 is the day that will always be remembered by the Company to commemorate the fire accident that occurred on July 10, 2015. As a tribute to the employees who passed away in the accident and the survivors as well as a reminder to all management and employees on the importance of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), the Company had established July 10 as Safety Day.

Unlike the previous years where management and employees usually gathered to pray together, during the Covid-19 pandemic, praying activities were carried out separately in each work location. This year, precisely on July 13, 2021, all members of the Board of Directors and representative of the Board of Commissioners of the Company held a praying together activity at the Memorial Garden located in Factory 1, MM2100 Industrial Estate, Bekasi with strict health protocols.

With the purpose of realising OHS, the Company had implemented an Occupational Health and Safety Management System. The implementation is part of the Company's commitment toward quality, occupational health and safety as well as environment for all management, employees and society. Various training, education, socialization as well as OHS Expert certifications were conducted regularly for the Company's employees. As of June 2021, total number of employees with OHS Expert certification had reached 27 persons.

Occupational Health and Safety is among the Company's priority in the daily operational and production activities. The Company regularly enhances commitment toward improving the implementation of OHS comprehensively and frequently carries out evaluation in order to support a continuous improvement.
