According to the results of the first half of 2017, Rigla Pharmacy Chain took the first place in the rating of pharmacy chains, which was conducted by AlphaRM, analytical company.

Rigla share accounted for 4.8% of the total retail segment of the Russian pharmaceutical market. As of July 1, 2017, the chain includes 1,858 pharmacies in 47 regions of the Russian Federation.

Group 36.6 with 4.4% of the market share (sales volume is over 24 billion rubles) takes the second place of the rating; Implozia Pharmacy Chain (Samara) with a market share of 3.2% and sales volume of more than 17 billion rubles is at the third place.

'Three leading players (Rigla, Group 36.6 and Implozia) have in their hands a tenth of the power of the entire pharmacy market, and the dozen of leaders-more than a fourth of the funds,' AlphaRM experts note.

'Over the past few years, Rigla has been showing steady growth. It is not surprising for us to have the first place in the pharmacy ranking, as it indicates the efficiency of the chosen strategy of the chain development, and we intend to support this trend,' said Alexander Filippov, the General Director of Rigla Pharmacy Chain.
