Podak Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 631.099 million compared to TWD 611.553 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 55.826 million compared to TWD 51.272 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 48.125 million compared to TWD 44.964 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.99 compared to TWD 0.92 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.98 compared to TWD 0.92 a year ago.
PODAK CO., LTD. is principally engaged in the agent distribution of Panasonic passive products and Panasonic active products. The Company is also engaged in the distribution of other products, including batteries, relays, motors, connectors, surveillance system equipment, light-emitting diode (LED) tubes and home appliances. The Panasonic passive products include solid capacitors, electrolytic capacitors, plastic capacitors, power chokes and gold capacitors. The Panasonic active products include transistors, diodes, metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFETs) and LEDs. The Company distributes its products in Taiwan and Mainland China.
