PENN VIRGNA : Penn Virginia Corporation to Participate in Upcoming Investor Conferences

Penn Virginia Corporation (NYSE:PVA) announced today that it will participate in two upcoming investor conferences.

PVA will participate in Pritchard Capital Partners' Energize 2011 Conference in San Francisco. PVA's presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time (2:00 p.m. Pacific time). Steven A. Hartman, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will present an overview of PVA's operations, including a discussion of strategy and recent activities.

PVA will also participate in BMO Capital Markets' 8^th Annual Unconventional Resource Conference in New York. PVA's presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 10:45 a.m. Eastern time. A. James Dearlove, President and Chief Executive Officer, will present an overview of PVA's operations, including a discussion of strategy and recent activities.
