Panasonic Connect announces live experience solutions

Panasonic Connect has launched a range of live experience solutions including the PT-REQ15/REZ15 Series 1-Chip DLP 4K Projectors, Silky Fine Mist (for hologram-like 3D effect generation), Media Production Suite, and the ET-FMP50 Series Media Processor, according to a press release.

"As more industries seek to implement immersive visual experiences, they'll need to adopt reliable, powerful solutions that give content creators and production teams flexibility," Jared Darensbourg, director of sales — visual systems at Panasonic Connect, said in the release. "The latest additions to our ecosystem of AV solutions respond directly to this industry need, helping customers worry less about the technology setup, and more about how they can take their creativity and audience experience to the next level."
Target use cases include corporate events, education spaces, and houses of worship, and the launch was coordinated with Panasonic Connect's appearance at InfoComm 2024, during which it will demonstrate a selection of the new products, among other solutions.
Product launch by series
PT-REQ15/REZ15 Series 1-Chip DLPTM 4K Projectors: Features of the series include 4K image production, IP5X standard-compliant optical engine and laser light source module, capacity to run in harsh conditions, and TAA Compliant status.
Silky Fine Mist: A system that creates particle mist with pressurized water and compressed air for the production of hologram-like, 3D effects via projected beams of light.
Media Production Suite: A system for centralizing camera management for small team operations, streamlining camera setup, and supporting video production. Panasonic is developing paid plug-in features such as AI Keying and auto-tracking for future release (a release date was not disclosed for these in-development plug-in features).
ET-FMP50 Series Media Processor: A system featuring camera-based warping, blending adjustment, and 4K media playback capability along with simplifying management of multi-projection attractions. (Planned to be available in the second half of 2024).
Panasonic Holdings Corporation (formerly Panasonic Corporation) specializes in manufacturing and marketing of consumer electronic equipments. Net sales (including intragroup) break down by family of products as follows:

- avionics, industrial automation, communication and entertainment systems (10.8%): in-flight entertainment and communication systems, electronic component assembly machines, welding equipment, projectors, professional audio-visual systems, computers, tablets, mobile communication systems and equipment, etc.;
- energy storage systems (8.9%): cylindrical lithium-ion batteries, dry batteries, primary/secondary lithium batteries, nickel-metal hydride batteries, lithium-ion batteries, energy storage modules and systems;
- other (12.2%).
Net sales break down geographically as follows: Japan (43.2%), China (13.4%), Asia (14.7%), Americas (18.7%) and Europe (10%).
