Miocene Resources Limited and Carube Resources Inc. (Carube) announced that drilling at the Connors Prospect (Connors) by OZ Minerals Limited (OZ Minerals) Carube's joint venture partner on the Bellas Gate Joint Venture (BGJV) in Jamaica is continuing to intersect significant copper-gold mineralization. One rig remains active at Connors and the second has been moved to the promising Hendley Prospect, where a 1200m by 500m copper (Cu) soil anomaly has been delineated. Ten holes have been drilled at the Connors prospect by OZ Minerals to date; results from the first three holes were reported on August 7th, 2014.

Of the seven holes drilled since that date, five holes have been fully assayed and three of those have intersected significant copper-gold porphyry mineralization at shallow depths. Assay results from CON14-004 include: 118.0 metres of 0.57% copper ("Cu") and 0.47 grams gold per tonne ("g Au/t") or 0.83% CuEq (copper equivalent) from 28 to 146 metres. Assay results from CON14-005 include: 294 metres of 0.41% Cu and 0.27 g Au/t or 0.56% CuEq from 7 to 301 metres; including: 96 metres of 0.67% Cu and 0.58 g Au/t or 0.99% CuEq from 7 to 103 metres, and 73 metres of 0.47% Cu and 0.21 g Au/t or 0.59% CuEq from 181 to 254 metres.

Assay results from CON14-007 include: 62 metres of 0.40% Cu and 0.17 g Au/t or 0.48% CuEq from 75 to 137 metres. Assays are pending for holes CON-14-008 and CON-14-010. A fault has been defined along the eastern edge of the mineralization at Connors.

Holes CON-14-006 and Con-14-009 both drilling from east to west, encountered barren Ginger Ridge Stock on the eastern side of the fault. Results are pending for hole CON-14-008 which was drilled on the Section 1 North and hole CON-14-010 which was drilled on Section 1 South. CON-14-008 was drilled to test the northern extension of the Connors Porphyry and has intersected strong weathered volcanic rock (latite), porphyry breccia dyke, basaltic andesite, thin monzonite dykes ("MZPL"), strongly altered porphyries and Ginger Ridge Stock ("GRST").

Sulphides including pyrite and chalcopyrite were noted from 12.7m to 117.0m. CON-14-010 was drilled to test the down plunge extension of the mineralization to the south. This hole intersected monzonite intrusion, porphyry breccia dyke, andesite, basaltic andesite and GRST.

The hole was terminated in GRST. Sulphide mineralization including up to 3% chalcopyrite in veins and fine disseminations was noted between 88.5m and 268.5m. The next planned hole will be on Section 2 South, drilling from west to east to further test the southward extension of mineralization.
