Vélizy, France, 14 june 2012

Osiatis has just completed the deployment of two major components of the System Center 2012 suite at the Nice University Hospital. This project was rolled out over a period of three months and has provided the IT department with tools that significantly optimise the day-to-day management of its IT resources.

System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) now provide IT teams with the necessary control to meet the challenges faced by a hospital, both in terms of administration and application supervision.

This project has been implemented as part of AGIH, a framework agreement signed between Microsoft and the French healthcare centres to provide the latter with state-of-the-art solutions on preferential terms. The Nice University Hospital is a significant driver of this project and also a member of the CEP programme, which brings together approximately 40 public and private organisations worldwide committed to an assessment and testing process of Microsoft solutions at the pre-release stage.

"Within the particularly demanding environment of a hospital, it is of the utmost importance that we avail of an IT system which is both fully operational and includes monitoring tools which meet our business needs", stated Philippe Mayer, IT Manager of the University Hospital. "To ensure the success of such a structuring project, we have built a genuine partnering relationship with Osiatis' teams, which have supported us throughout the deployment."

"Osiatis' expertise in the Microsoft environment has played a key role in the success of the project", confirmed Sébastien Bourlet, an Osiatis consultant. "Our in-depth knowledge of System Center environments has enabled us to develop infrastructure with precise dimensions that meets the needs of the hospital, at the same time as complying with stringent safety and continuity of service standards."
