NS-OG Energy Solutions (Thailand) Ltd. (hereinafter, 'NSET'), a joint venture company between Nippon Steel & Sumikin Engineering Co., Ltd. (Representative Director and President: Shinichi Fujiwara; Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter, 'NSENGI') and Osaka Gas Singapore Pte. Ltd. (CEO: Tetsuji Yoneda; hereinafter, 'OGS'), a subsidiary of Osaka Gas Co., Ltd. (Representative Director and President: Takehiro Honjo; Head Office: Chuo-ku, Osaka City; hereinafter, 'OG'), has completed Phase II construction of the on-site energy supply project for the Prachinburi Plant of Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd.), and the new energy supply system has started operation in November. Phase I construction was completed in July 2015, and the chillers and the hot water boilers installed at that time have been supplying the plant with hot and cold water ever since. With the completion of phase II construction, the planned on-site energy supply system is now fully up and running. This marks the successful completion of the third such project in Thailand, following the delivery of similar systems to Luckytex (Thailand) Public Company Limited in December 2016 and to Yokohama Tire Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in May 2017. NSET is owned 70% by NSENGI and 30% by OGS.
