One Stop Systems, Inc. has signed a sole source contract to design a new military-spec flash storage array for airborne sensor data collection. The proposed system is an enhanced version of the company’s existing, military field-tested flash array. The new design will use the same lightweight 25, 50, or 100 terabyte removable storage canisters within a reduced size and weight chassis. This system is intended to be incorporated into multiple types of fixed-wing and rotary-wing manned and unmanned aircraft. The new design-in follows the previously announced $36 million contract for OSS to provide flash storage arrays for Navy surveillance aircraft.
One Stop Systems, Inc. designs, manufactures, and markets specialized rugged high-performance compute (HPC), high-speed switch fabrics and storage systems, which are designed to target edge applications for artificial intelligence (AI) / machine learning, sensor processing, sensor fusion and autonomy. It offers specialized modules and systems that consist of computers, switch fabrics and storage products that incorporate components with embedded proprietary software. The Company operates through two segments: OSS design and manufactures high-performance customized computers and flash arrays, in-flight entertainment & connectivity. Bressner operates as a system integrator with standard and custom all-in-one hardware systems and components for many kinds of industrial environments. Its products include ruggedized servers, compute accelerators, flash storage arrays, and storage acceleration software. These specialized compact products are used across multiple industries and applications.
