It is with great sadness that Oncorus, Inc. (the "Company") reports the death of
its Chief Financial Officer, Richard Wanstall, on April 29, 2023. Mr. Wanstall
served as the Company's Chief Financial Officer since May 2022. He will be
deeply missed by his friends and colleagues at the Company.
On April 30, 2023, the Company's board of directors appointed Theodore (Ted)
Ashburn, M.D., Ph.D., the Company's Chief Executive Officer, as principal
financial officer and principal accounting officer, effective as of such date.
Biographical information for Dr. Ashburn is available in the Company's proxy
statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on May 13, 2022 in
connection with the Company's 2022 annual meeting of stockholders, such
information being incorporated herein by reference.
