Zhongshan NPK New Material Co., Ltd. announced that it will receive KRW 1,364,800,000 in a round of funding from returning investor NPK.Co.,Ltd (KOSDAQ:A048830) on April 9, 2021. Post closing, the investor will continue to hold 100% stake in the company, and the capital of the company is expected to change from CNY 52,000,000 to CNY 60,000,000. The transaction has been approved by the board of directors of the company, and is expected to close on April 22, 2021.
NPK.Co.,Ltd is a Korea-based company engaged in the manufacturing of plastic resins together with its subsidiaries. The Company operates its business through two divisions: synthetic resins division and automobile components division. Its synthetic resins division produces plastic compounds, including polypropylene (PP) compounds, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) compounds, polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) compounds and others used for automobiles, electronics and electrical products, and master batches, such as color master batches and additive master batches used for sheets, films, fibers and others. Its automobile components division engages in the manufacture of automobile external and internal material components, such as piller, garnishes and others. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
