TOKYO - July 11, 2013 - Nomura Research Institute (NRI), Ltd., a leading global IT solutions and consulting services provider, announced today the firm has achieved the status of Amazon Web Services (AWS) premier consulting partner, making NRI one of the first Japanese companies to become a premier member of the AWS Partner Network (APN).
To support the forthcoming work with AWS, NRI is building a business unit that will include a staff of management consultants, system architects, data analysts and engineers dedicated to support system design, implementation and management. NRI plans to expand the team to more than 100 individuals within two years. Through this partnership, NRI will support clients who leverage the AWS secure cloud infrastructure for their enterprise IT, drawing on the firm's breadth of experience in providing solutions for financial services, logistics, manufacturing and public sectors.
