Nokia Corporation reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2011. For the quarter on reported basis, the company reported net sales of EUR 10,005 million against EUR 12,651 million a year ago. Operating loss was EUR 1,073 million against operating profit of EUR 2,070 million a year ago. Net cash from operating activities was EUR 1,137 million against EUR 4,774 million and LPS was 0.31 diluted share compared to EPS of 0.50 per diluted share a year ago. In 2011, capital expenditure amounted to EUR 597 million compared to EUR 679 million in last year. Loss before tax was EUR 1.2 billion compared to profit before tax of EUR 1.8 billion in last year. Loss was EUR 1.5 billion compared to profit of EUR 1.3 billion in last year, based on a loss of EUR 1.2 billion (profit of EUR 1.8 billion) attributable to equity holders of the parent and a loss of EUR 0.3 billion (loss of EUR 0.5 billion) attributable to non- controlling interests.
