Clarivate Top 100 Global Innovators 2022 Nitto Selected as Top 100 Global IP/Patents-Related Innovators
Nitto Denko Corporation（headquarter: Osaka, Japan, President： Hideo Takasaki, hereafter Nitto）has been named one of "Clarivate Top 100 Global Innovators 2022", which presents the 100 most innovative companies and research institutions in the world by Clarivate Analytics (HQ: London, the UK; Japan office: Tokyo).
The "Clarivate Top 100 Global Innovators 2022" are the top hundred companies/organizations selected for their superior R&D activities or intellectual asset management in the world. These companies are chosen based on five evaluation criteria (number of patents, influence of the patent, success rate, global performance, and broad range of technical fields), by analyzing the patent-related data retained by Clarivate Analytics. Started in 2012, this is the award's 11th year, and Nitto is awarded for the 9th time. 35 corporations/organizations of those selected are from Japan, including Nitto.
In the three focus domains of "Information Interface," "Next-generation Mobility," and "Human Life", Nitto aims to create new value through combining its technologies and products and offer the value of intellectual property assets, to contribute to a sustainable environment and the realization of well-being in people's lives.
