Nissan Motor Company launched its IMs concept, a pure electric sports sedan at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show. The car has a 2+1+2 layout featuring a 'Premier Seat' that envisions an entirely new vehicle segment. The rear integrates three seats, transforming between traditional dual seats and a single oversized seat that deploys when the outboard positions are folded. With no B-pillar, the doors are oppositely hinged for improved access. The vehicle is powered by dual electric motors to generate 483bhp and 590 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels. A large 115-kWh battery is estimated to offer up to 380 miles before needing a charge.
