Announcement of completion of the transition to a holding company structure by means of a Company Split

The transition to a holding company structure has today taken place by means of an Absorption-type Company Split.

On 29 January 2021 we issued an announcement entitled "Establishment of Split Preparation Company pursuant to Transition to a Holding Company Structure through a Company Restructure" pursuant to which a Split Preparation Company was established as a fully owned subsidiary on 1 April 2021 called Nihon M&A Center Split Preparation Company Inc.

Our group has the aim "To become the top global integrated M&A company", and for this purpose has continually expanded business associated with the core M&A intermediary activities through the establishment of subsidiaries and associates in areas such as company valuations, inheritance tax planning, PMI, online matching services for business succession, media for business owners and PE funds. Through this change to a holding company structure in our 30th anniversary year we aim for the further development of each group company; development of optimal human resource for management of all group companies; maximization of group corporate value, and further group development in the domestic market and overseas markets.

Following the transition to a holding company structure the listed entity (stock exchange code 2127) now becomes the holding company called Nihon M&A Center Holdings Inc.
