Three year contract with Asian telecommunications provider
New contract enables customer to provide backhaul services
Commences August 2014 and positions NewSat for stronger FY2015
NewSat Limited (ASX: NWT) (OTCQX: NWTLY), Australia's satellite company, is pleased to announce a new teleport customer contract with an Asian telecommunications company. The agreement to provide satellite communication services has a total contract value of US$13.6 million over three years. For commercial and competitive reasons the customer details cannot be disclosed at this time and remain confidential.The customer contract commencing in August 2014, will utilise steerable capacity on Russian Satellite Communications Company (RSCC) Express AM3 satellite enabling the customer to provide cellular and Wi-Fi backhaul services across parts of Asia.

Jabiru-1, a large next generation satellite, will provide superior coverage over South East Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. To date, Jabiru-1 has secured US$644 million of pre-launch customer contracts and a US$454 million forward sales pipeline. Jabiru-
2, scheduled for launch in 2014, will deliver enhanced coverage over Australia, Timor Leste and Papua New
Guinea. NewSat has rights to eight premium orbital slots and its fleet of next generation geostationary
