Netum has won a tender for an electronic service and management system for research activities

IT services company Netum has won a tender from Istekki Oy for an electronic service and management system for research activities for the wellbeing services counties of Pirkanmaa and Northern Savonia. Istekki Oy develops information and technology services for municipalities and the health and wellbeing sector. The owners of the company are the wellbeing services counties, hospital districts, municipalities, joint municipal authorities, and the strategic partners of the owners.

The electronic service and administration system is used for the planning and establishment of research projects, for applying for the opinion of the ethics committee and/or other necessary applications and permits, as well as for the management and monitoring of projects. 

The contract includes the necessary software and its interfaces to other systems, the delivery project (including e.g. migrations and conversions), maintenance and support of off-the-shelf software, a support service and professional services ordered separately. The value of the implementation and commissioning of the project and four years of maintenance is approximately EUR 1 million. The non-binding value of the additional development work is over EUR 2 million.

The decision will be final after the end of the appeal period in accordance with the Act on Public Procurement, after which the contract is valid until further notice.
