By Netop, the worldwide leader in classroom management software, today announced the release of version 8.1 of Vision and Vision Pro. This latest update now allows teachers to demo from their PC to student iPad and Android tablets via the Vision Student app.

"The Vision Student app makes it easier to teach with student devices in a simple, engaging way."
The Netop Vision Student app allows students to easily join a Vision or Vision Pro class. Educators can share their PC screen with student iPad and Android tablets, use annotations during demos and presentations to focus student attention, and ensure privacy with password-protected class set-up.
With the explosion in 1:1 computing and BYOD programs in schools, it is critical that teachers have the technology tools that will help them incorporate smart devices into their instruction. A recent survey of more than 3,800 teachers revealed that nearly 60 percent said that their schools are buying iPads for students and 24 percent said that screen sharing would help them make better use of the tablets as instructional tools. The Netop Vision Student app is the iPad and Android component for students in schools and classrooms using version 8.1 or higher of Netop Vision or Netop Vision Pro classroom management software. In addition to the Vision Student app, which can be downloaded from the iTunes Store or Google Play for free, the Vision or Vision Pro teacher component is also required (version 8.1 or higher).
