This year, Girls' Day and Boys' Day, established as the Zukunftstag, took place on April 27. On this day, interested young people had the opportunity to find out about apprenticeships in various fields of activity at the companies. Originally known as Girls' Day, Zukunftstag is intended to encourage a stereotype-free, gender-sensitive choice of occupation and training position. For example, girls should also take a look at "typical male professions" so that they can also consider these in their career planning. For boys, the same applies to professions in which women are more likely to work.

Diverse professions at Neschen - insights behind the scenes

This year, 10 interested young people (6 girls and 4 boys) visited the administration and production departments at Neschen on Future Day. The event started at 8 am and ended around 1 pm.

During their tour, they got to know the buildings and machines and met employees with a wide variety of professions and training.
