Nasstar plc ("Nasstar" or "Company")

Microsoft hosting partner incentive scheme

The Company, which has today been readmitted to AIM and completed the reverse takeover of e-know.net Limited ("e-know.net") is pleased to announce today that with effect from 1 January 2014, e-know.net has been invited to join the Microsoft hosting partner incentive scheme.  This scheme is designed to promote deeper market penetration and deployment of the Microsoft platform via third-party hosting.  Membership of the scheme is by invitation only and provides members with a range of incentives and rebates designed to enable them to deliver on their business strategies and to build sustainable growth for their companies.

Eligibility for the scheme is based on a number of criteria, including "Named Hoster" status, requiring revenues of over $1million per annum for prescribed revenue categories.

The scheme rewards Microsoft hosting partners with a percentage cash rebate and in addition partners can earn Coop marketing fund incentives for performance of activities that maintain and grow customer revenue and demand generation.

As a part of the newly enlarged Nasstar group, this program will benefit both e-know.net and Nasstar (also a significant Microsoft user in its own right) alike, and represent an important source of post-deal synergy benefits.  Microsoft is the largest individual supplier to each of e-know.net and Nasstar, with a combined spend of approximately £1.2m during the last 12 months on a proforma basis, so the impact of any percentage savings is to be welcomed.

About Nasstar plc

Nasstar (www.nasstar.com) and its wholly owned subsidiary e-know.net (www.e-know.net) provide hosted desktop and hosted exchange cloud computing services that enable subscribers to access their corporate desktop, files, applications and email in the Cloud rather than using local hard drives. Hosted desktop is a highly scalable service that provides benefits including anywhere access to computing, a standardised corporate desktop solution that can be accessed globally and in multiple languages and cost savings when compared to the traditional IT ownership model, replacing capital expenditure with a simple usage based payment model.

Nasstar (AIM:NASA) was founded in 1998, admitted to AIM in December 2005 and acquired e-know.net in a reverse takeover in January 2014.
