Nano One Materials Corp. Adds Stephen Campbell as Principal Scientist

Nano One Materials Corp. announced the appointment of Stephen Campbell Ph.D. to the position of Principal Scientist. Dr. Campbell will be working with Nano One's multi-disciplinary team of scientists, engineers, industrial partners, and academic collaborators, while guiding the development of Nano One's patented technologies and nanostructured materials for commercial applications in lithium ion batteries and other market opportunities.

Prior to his appointment at Nano One, Dr. Campbell served as Principal Scientist at Automotive Fuel Cell Cooperation Corp. between 2008 and 2015.

Nano One Materials Corp. is a clean technology company. The Company with a patented, scalable, and low carbon intensity industrial process for the low-cost production of lithium-ion battery cathode materials. It has developed and patented a One-Pot Process technology to produce cathode active materials (CAM) for lithium-ion battery applications in electric vehicles, energy storage systems, and consumer electronics. The One-Pot Process is engineered to use non-sulfate forms of metal feedstock, such as metal powders, hydroxides, or carbonates, with the intention of reducing total cost and carbon footprint per kilogram of CAM. The process also forms coated nanocrystal cathode powders that are designed to be conventional cathode powders. The nanocrystal addresses a fundamental battery trade-off between energy density and durability. Its Metal to Cathode Active Material (M2CAM) technology reduces cost, reduces waste, and reduces the carbon footprint in the lithium-ion battery supply chain.
