Mount Burgess Mining N.L. announced Following the receipt of drill core from Botswana the Company has now couriered to the Geological division of the University of Tasmania some 6.6kg of 1/2 HQ diamond core from three holes drilled in 2017 into the Kihabe Deposit. The Kihabe Deposit is situated on the Company's current Prospecting Licence PL43/2016. The drill core, selected from intersections within the oxide zone of the Kihabe Deposit, will be subject to mineralogical test work to determine the host mineral for Germanium (Ge). Recent mineralogical test work conducted assumed that Ge was associated with Vanadium. However, this was not the case. The test work did reveal that it is likely that Ge is associated with iron hydroxides, requiring specialised test work which the University of Tasmania can undertake. Assaying for Ge has only been conducted on recent drilling. It has not been included in any previous resource estimates conducted on either of the Kihabe or Nxuu Deposits. Because of the potential for Ge to represent a significant credit for both the Kihabe and Nxuu Polymetallic deposits, all current and future drill samples will include assaying for Ge. Core selected for Test Work: Drill core intersections from which 1/2 HQ was selected from the Kihabe Deposit are as follows: KDD201, 71.00m to 75.21m; KDD203, 16.00m to 18.00m; KDD206, 61.00m to 67.00m.
