- The trust of our clients, who return to Mostostal Warszawa with subsequent orders, is the best proof of the high quality of our work - says Jorge Calabuig Ferre, Vice President of the Management Board of Mostostal Warszawa S.A. - In recent years, we have completed several tanks in various PERN depots. The current task is another strategic project for the Polish market, which will be carried out by our team of top engineers.

- This is another task we will execute as a consortium of Mostostal Warszawa and Mostostal Płock - adds Jacek Szymanek, President of the Management Board of Mostostal Płock S.A. - It is an example of good cooperation and the synergy effect resulting from the consolidation within our Capital Group.

- The consistent expansion of PERN's strategic coastal infrastructure is part of our development strategy and is crucial for ensuring efficient oil logistics and fuel availability throughout Poland. Therefore, I am even more pleased that the expansion of our fuel depot in Dębogórze is being conducted with trusted partners who have previously completed similar tasks for us - says Daniel Świętochowski, President of the Management Board of PERN S.A.

Significant Project

The capacity of the Fuel Depot in Dębogórze is 360,000 m³. This depot serves as a key link in Poland's diversified fuel supply system. Thanks to the investment by Mostostal Warszawa and Mostostal Płock, the capacity of the fuel depot will increase by another 150,000 m³.

This is the next phase of the expansion of this coastal fuel hub, classified as strategic infrastructure for the energy security of Poland and neighboring countries. The project is part of the critical infrastructure expansion program.

Continuation of cooperation

In 2021-2022, Mostostal successfully completed a contract with PERN that included the construction of seven tanks with a capacity of 32,000 m³ each: at Fuel Depot No. 1 in Koluszki (3 tanks), Fuel Depot No. 2 in Nowa Wieś Wielka (3 tanks), and Fuel Depot No. 21 in Dębogórze (1 tank).

The investment in the expansion of the fuel hub in Dębogórze is PERN's response to market needs and customer expectations, who are increasingly diversifying their raw material supplies. The new infrastructure will allow for the storage of intervention reserves and more flexible fuel trading. It is also one of the elements of strengthening Poland's energy independence.

The project is scheduled for completion in 2025, with the contract value reaching PLN 148 million.

PERN

PERN is a leader in oil and fuel logistics in Poland, managing critical infrastructure that ensures the country's security. It operates 19 fuel depots across Poland with a total capacity of approximately 2.65 million m³ and four oil depots with a total capacity of over 4.1 million m³.
