CLAIM FROM ERGO EXERGY TECHNOLOGIES, INC Moreton Resources Ltd (ASX:MRV) advises that it has yesterday received a letter of demand from Charles Hider & Associates, solicitors acting for Ergo Exergy Technologies, Inc (Ergo Exergy), for the immediate payment of $ 305,823.40 for services claimed to have been provided in 2009 and 2010.

The Company and Ergo Exergy are parties to a General Licence Agreement governing project and advisory services for underground coal gasification from Ergo Exergy.
The services claimed by Ergo Exergy are alleged to have been carried out at a time when a previous
Board of Directors was in place.
In September 2013, the current Board of Directors of Moreton Resources requested information from Ergo Exergy regarding the invoices raised and an explanation of the services provided within the governing provisions of the General Licence Agreement. In return, Charles Hider & Associates sent a letter of demand to accompany copy invoices, but without any of the explanations requested.
The Company will further consider Ergo Exergy's claims in due course. Regardless of the outcome and taking into account the financial position of the Company, Moreton Resources will now need to accelerate the raising of new working capital.

Moreton Resources Limited is engaged in the identification and development of conventional coal projects in Australia and also seeks to expand the Company through acquisition. The Company has metals assets within Queensland. The Company's projects include Tarong Basin Thermal Coal Project, Wandoan Coal Project, Mackenzie Coal Project and Granite Belt Metals Project. The Tarong Basin Thermal Coal Project (MDL 385) is located approximately 10 kilometers south of Kingaroy in southeast Queensland's South Burnett Region. The Wandoan Coal Project (MDL 420) is located over 25 kilometers south of Wandoan in southern Queensland's Surat Basin. The Mackenzie Coal Project (EPC 1445 and MDL 503) is located approximately 25 kilometers northeast of Blackwater in central Queensland's Bowen Basin. The Granite Belt Metals Project includes tenements EPM 8854, EPM 11455, EPM 12858 and EPM 18950, which cover a combined 67 sub-blocks with a total area of approximately 197 square kilometers.
