Milano, 4 March 2013 - Gruppo MutuiOnline S.p.A. informs that it has completed the purchase of 100% of the ordinary share capital of Money360.it S.p.A, a company founded in 2009 which operates as an on-line credit broker through the www.money360.itweb site.
Money360.it, which over the years raised in total more than Euro 3.1 million from venture capital investors, will continue to operate with its own brand and IT platform for the offering of mortgages and other consumer credit products through the Internet.
Dario Rigamonti, co-founder of the acquired company, has been appointed by the new shareholder as chairman of the board of directors of Money360.it.
"The contraction of the residential credit market, linked to the ongoing economic and financial crisis, is so deep and persistent to deny the autonomous survival of many smaller credit brokers." - states Marco Pescarmona, Chairman of Gruppo MutuiOnline - "The acquisition of Money360.it has taken place in this context and will enable our Group to benefit from the significant commercial and technological assets of the company as well as the skills of its key people.".
