Mestron Holdings Bhd has secured another MYR 13 million worth of orders from the telecommunication ("telco") segment following the order of MYR 17.5 million that the Group secured from the national digital infrastructure plan, Jalinan Digital Negara ("JENDELA") back in June this year. The orders secured are under the Digital Nasional Berhad ("DNB") and Universal Service Provision ("USP") projects. DNB is actively rolling out its 5G deployment while USP initiatives bridge the digital divide between developed and underserved areas.

Indeed, the Group has seen a sharp improvement in its order books and has a total order book of MYR 53 million year-to-date. This is in line with the active rollout of 5G deployments that are gradually gaining momentum as Mestron generated its revenue mainly from the sales of its standard poles and specialty poles within the telco segment.
