MEDISANA impresses once again at the Plus X Awards: As many as six products were awarded the well-known innovation prize

The biggest innovation prize for technology, sports and lifestyle is awarded by leading specialists in the home healthcare market to innovative products in different categories. The following products impressed the technical
jury - made up of eminent persons - of the Plus X Award and received the sought-after quality seal:

The MEDISANA Body Fat Scale BS 440 CONNECT was honoured in the categories of Innovation, High Quality, Design, Convenience of Use and Functionality. It convinced the jury as being 'a true innovation, which is impressive in its design and high quality, as well as its convenience of use and functionality.'

The Electronic Bodytoner BT 850, which promotes circulation and strengthens the musculature, as well as the Sleep Monitor Sleepace from MEDISANA, which records data such as the depth and duration of sleep, the heart rate and the breathing rate as well as the movements in sleep, and transmits them via Bluetooth to the Sleepace App, were the winners for High Quality, Convenience of Use and Functionality.

For the trendy MEDISANA massage roll PowerRoll, which combines the function of a traditional massage roll with innovative vibration, there were awards in the categories High Quality and Design. According to testers, quality particularly manifests itself in superior processing of the materials.

The Massage Seat Pad MC 825 from MEDISANA, according to the jury, is 'an ergonomic product of high quality, coupled with convenience of use and functionality.' The seat, which is controlled with a remote control, combines intensive Shiatsumassage with targeted air pressure massage, which stimulates specific acupressure points. It was awarded in the categories High Quality, Convenience of Use, Functionality and Ergonomics.

The MEDISANA Activity Tracker ViFit Touch with a touch display won awards for High Quality, Design, Convenience of Use and Functionality. In the activity mode, it records the number of steps, the distance covered, the calories consumed, the total activity time and the percentage of the activity goal reached. At night, the ViFit Touch works as a sleep tracker and records the movements in sleep and the duration of sleep.

The Plus X Award has been in existence for 13 years. It is an innovation prize that honours manufacturers for the quality edge of their products. The products chosen are innovative and sustainable products that have at least one so-called 'Plus X' factor - the value addition to the product which, according to the eminent jury, deserves a prize. Owing to this concept, according to the organisers, the Plus-X Award retains its respected image across all industrial sectors as being a credible seal of quality.
