Maeil Holdings Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A005990) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to KRW 2,000 million worth of its shares pursuant to a contract with KB Securities Co., Ltd. The purpose of the program is to improve shareholder value and to stabilize stock price. The program will expire on February 25, 2023. As of February 25, 2021, the company had 996,702 shares in treasury within scope available for dividend and had 3,479 shares in treasury through other repurchase.
Maeil Holdings Co Ltd, formerly Maeil Dairies Co Ltd, is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and marketing of dairy products. The Company's product portfolio consists of infant food, including powdered milk, baby food, functional powdered milk and others under the brand names of Absolute and Maeil Mamâma; milk, including regular milk, functional milk, sterilized milk and processed milk; fermented milk, including thick fermented milk, liquid fermented milk and stirred fermented milk, and beverages, including coffee beverages, soybean milk, cheese, wine and others.
