London Stock Exchange Group named Charlie Walker as deputy chief executive of the London Stock Exchange.

The stock-exchange and financial-information company said Monday in a statement on its website that Walker will join the group's board.

Reporting to LSE CEO Julia Hoggett, he will support the running of the exchange and oversee the primary markets business, it added.

Walker, who previously worked at J.P. Morgan Cazenove, has been with the group since 2018, it said.
