Linde PLC will be removed from Germany's DAX index effective Feb. 27 following delisting of its ordinary shares from the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, Deutsche Boerse AG said late Thursday.

Information about Linde's replacement will be released on Feb. 17.

Earlier this week, Linde's shareholders approved an intercompany reorganization resulting in its delisting from the Frankfurt stock exchange. The new holding company, which will also be named Linde PLC, will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
