Fast growing IT company Onwave has moved to Kings Hill to accommodate its expansion plans and tap into the highly skilled local labour market.

The company, which has been operating since 2008, is both an internet service provider and an independent network integrator, delivering data connectivity through single or combined services from all major networks. It serves primarily the construction, utilities, transport, retail and public sectors.

It has taken space in 2 Kings Hill Avenue and plans to double in size by the end of the year. 'We are moving to Kings Hill as we are a fast growing company and need larger, purpose designed premises to support our expansion,' said managing director Stuart Ladbrook.

'We currently employ 15 people and are expecting to grow to closer to 30 later in 2017. Kings Hill is in a prime location with a large catchment population, which will provide a suitable pool of skilled talent.

'We also chose Kings Hill because of its amenities, its accessibility to the M20 and M25 and the potential to partner, foster innovation and exchange ideas with the business community there.'

Onwave will be joining several other IT companies at Kings Hill, including Relational Database Technology, Infor Global Solutions and Version 1 Software.

'Kings Hill is well placed to accommodate growing companies because many of the buildings are owned by a single landlord, which allows us to readily move companies around the business park to accommodate their growth whilst keeping the Kings Hill address,' said Andrew Blevins, managing director of Kings Hill developer Liberty Property Trust.

Altus Group, Hanover Green and Knight Frank acted for the landlord.
