KKR and IGNIS announce the creation of IGNIS P2X (for Power-to-X) , a new platform to develop green hydrogen and ammonia projects for hard-to-decarbonize industries.

KKR will invest up to 400 million euros in this 50/50 joint venture with its partner. IGNIS P2X will start with a global pipeline of 30 GW of projects, including 10 GW of renewable projects.

IGNIS, already a leader in renewable energies in Spain, manages over 300 projects in ten countries and 6.6 GW of energy assets.

The new platform will develop plants for the production of green hydrogen, ammonia, e-methanol, e-fuels and SAF (sustainable aviation fuel), targeting major companies in the steel refining and chemical sectors.
